The Bible Can Make You Wise For
Salvation Through Faith In Christ

https://christrose.news/2024/09/the-bible-is-able-to-make-you-wise-for.html

The Bible stands as the divinely
inspired source of truth, revealing
God's plan of salvation through Jesus
Christ. It not only contains the message
of redemption but also acts as the means
through which saving faith is imparted
to those who hear and believe. From the
written word to the proclamation of the
gospel, Scripture consistently points
people to Christ and offers the wisdom
and power necessary for eternal life.
This article explores how the Bible, by
God's design, effectively leads
individuals to faith in Christ and
eternal salvation.

Saving faith in the person of Christ
comes through the written word of God.

"having been born again, not of
corruptible seed but incorruptible,
through the word of God which lives and
abides forever," (1 Peter 1:23, NKJV)

Saving faith in Christ originates
through the written word of God, as
Scripture serves as the imperishable and
eternal source of spiritual life. 1
Peter 1:23 affirms that believers
experience new birth through the
incorruptible seed of God's word, which
has enduring power and effect. This
emphasizes that the word of God, unlike
any human effort or perishable
influence, brings forth genuine faith
and lasting transformation in the hearts
of those who receive it.

Saving faith in Christ comes through the
proclamation of the gospel of Christ.

"For I am not ashamed of the gospel of
Christ, for it is the power of God to
salvation for everyone who believes, for
the Jew first and also for the Greek."
(Romans 1:16, NKJV)

Saving faith in Christ comes through the
proclamation of the gospel because the
gospel itself carries the power of God
to bring salvation to those who believe.
Romans 1:16 highlights the
transformative power of the gospel
message, which transcends cultural and
ethnic boundaries, offering salvation to
all who trust in Christ. Through the
preached gospel, God draws people to
faith in His Son, making the gospel the
vital means by which people hear,
believe, and are saved.

The saving gospel of Christ is "IN
ACCORDANCE WITH THE SCRIPTURES":

"Now I would remind you, brothers, of
the gospel I preached to you, which you
received, in which you stand, and by
which you are being saved, if you hold
fast to the word I preached to
you—unless you believed in vain. For I
delivered to you as of first importance
what I also received: that Christ died
for our sins IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE
SCRIPTURES, that he was buried, that he
was raised on the third day IN
ACCORDANCE WITH THE SCRIPTURES," (1
Corinthians 15:1–4, ESV, emphasis mine)

The Bible proves itself able to save
people because it provides the
foundation for the gospel of Christ. In
1 Corinthians 15:1–4, Paul reminds the
church that the gospel he preached, the
message that brings salvation, is
entirely in accordance with the
Scriptures. The Bible foretold and
verified Christ’s death, burial, and
resurrection, demonstrating God’s
redemptive plan through its pages. The
gospel stands on the authority and truth
of Scripture, showing that the Bible
itself is the means by which God’s
saving message reaches people,
confirming its power to save.

Saving faith in Christ comes by hearing
the "word of God."

"So then faith comes by hearing, and
hearing by the word of God." (Romans
10:17, NKJV)

The Bible, as the word of God, plays a
crucial role in producing saving faith
in Christ. Romans 10:17 emphasizes that
faith comes by hearing, and hearing
through the word of God. This means that
the Scriptures, when proclaimed and
heard, act as the instrument through
which God brings people to faith. The
Bible not only reveals the message of
salvation but also empowers it, making
it the essential means by which
individuals come to trust in Christ for
their salvation.

Saving faith in Christ comes through
what is written about Him in Scripture.

"but these are WRITTEN that you may
believe that Jesus is the Christ, the
Son of God, and that believing you may
have life in His name." (John 20:31,
NKJV, emphasis mine)

The Bible demonstrates its ability to
save by providing a written record of
who Christ is and what He has done. John
20:31 declares that the Scriptures were
written with the purpose of leading
people to believe that Jesus is the
Christ, the Son of God. Through
believing in the message of the Bible,
individuals receive eternal life in His
name. This shows that the Bible is not
merely an account of events but is
divinely designed to bring people to
saving faith in Christ.

The "Holy Scriptures" are able to make
you wise for salvation through faith in
Christ.

"and that from childhood you have known
the Holy Scriptures, which are able to
make you wise for salvation through
faith which is in Christ Jesus." (2
Timothy 3:15, NKJV)

The Bible proves its ability to save by
imparting wisdom that leads to salvation
through faith in Christ. In 2 Timothy
3:15, Paul reminds Timothy that the Holy
Scriptures, known to him from childhood,
are able to make him wise for salvation.
The Scriptures provide the knowledge
necessary to understand God's plan of
redemption and place one's faith in
Christ. This shows that the Bible not
only instructs but also guides
individuals toward saving faith,
demonstrating its power to lead people
to salvation.

In every aspect, the Bible proves itself
to be the essential means by which God
brings salvation to mankind. Whether
through the written word, the proclaimed
gospel, or the fulfillment of Scriptural
prophecy, the Bible imparts the
knowledge, wisdom, and faith needed for
salvation. As the incorruptible seed
that endures forever, it continues to
transform hearts and lead people to life
in Christ. To neglect or undermine the
power of the Scriptures is to reject the
very instrument through which God grants
saving faith.

Have you heard the good news Christ died

That Christ died for our sins shows
we're sinners who deserve the death
penalty. That God raised Him from the
dead shows Christ's death satisfied
God's righteous demands against our sin
(Romans 3:25; 1 John 2:1-2). This means
God can now remain just, while forgiving
you of your sins, and saving you from

As noted, that faith comes by hearing,
and hearing by the word of God (Romans
10:17; 1:16). If you lack faith, you
need to read the Scriptures, and listen
to it being proclaimed. It's through
that exposure to the word of God, that
God imparts faith.

Do you know what faith is?

The two types of Faith or typical definitions of it? Maybe more, but I know
of two main ones.

The Bible Can Make You Wise For Salvation Through Faith In Christ
You see, John? Listen carefully.

The bible can make you wise, but what for? For something. What?
Salvation. Through what? Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, a Person.

Once you receive the Lord in His fullness, meaning, in surrender, the
wisdom is realised; you don't keep going back to get wisdom for
salvation if you are already saved...

(KJV)
Galatians 4:9  But now, after that ye have known God, or rather are
known of God, how turn ye again to the weak and beggarly elements,
whereunto ye desire again to be in bondage?

The bible, once the Lord Jesus Christ is received, is a beggarly element
(written word, ink), something that pales into insignificance compared
to the glory of the presence of the Lord in His Holy Spirit.

It is a horrific thought and a stone of stumbling for them to imagine
such a thing—not having the written word, the ink—because true faith in
God is in His omnipotence and omnipresence.

That is for those who are born again, chosen, but the called have a
journey to make.

I was playing this guy at chess one time, and I said, "I wonder what God
is saying in this chess game?" And the guy looked at me funny and said,
"God has got nothing to do with chess!"

:-).

Is God a book on the coffee table, or is He everywhere and in everything?

:-).

One stroke after another, line upon line, precept upon precept to the
Lord's renewing of your mind through His Holy Spirit. All the glory is His.

It is a good feeling, isn't it! The first time in your life when you can
feel your foot is on solid ground; that is because it is! :-). That is
how Joshua felt when they stepped out of the Jordan River and into the
promised land, about to conquer all before him, if he obeyed the will of
the Lord.

And so...

Rom_8:14  For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons
of God.

As long as you follow the Lord, the truth, your religion, your bible
doctrines, your bible, and your sinner Christianity upbringing will get
further and further away in the rear view mirror.

And look in Romans 8:14; you have a promise from the Lord.

The rich young ruler would not have been transformed the moment he
decided to go with the Lord if he had decided to go with the Lord, but
the Lord would have brought him safely into the Kingdom if he continued
in the faith, like with the disciples (with the exception of Judas who
chose not to continue).

Trust and obey for that is the way.

the means through which saving faith
is imparted to those who hear and
believe. From the written word to the
proclamation of the gospel, Scripture
consistently points people to Christ
and offers the wisdom and power
necessary for eternal life. This
article explores how the Bible, by
God's design, effectively leads
individuals to faith in Christ and
eternal salvation.
Saving faith in the person of Christ
comes through the written word of God.
"having been born again, not of
corruptible seed but incorruptible,
through the word of God which lives
and abides forever," (1 Peter 1:23, NKJV)
Saving faith in Christ originates
through the written word of God, as
Scripture serves as the imperishable
and eternal source of spiritual life.
1 Peter 1:23 affirms that believers
experience new birth through the
incorruptible seed of God's word,
which has enduring power and effect.
This emphasizes that the word of God,
unlike any human effort or perishable
influence, brings forth genuine faith
and lasting transformation in the
hearts of those who receive it.
Saving faith in Christ comes through
the proclamation of the gospel of Christ.
"For I am not ashamed of the gospel of
Christ, for it is the power of God to
salvation for everyone who believes,
for the Jew first and also for the
Greek." (Romans 1:16, NKJV)
Saving faith in Christ comes through
the proclamation of the gospel because
the gospel itself carries the power of
God to bring salvation to those who
believe. Romans 1:16 highlights the
transformative power of the gospel
message, which transcends cultural and
ethnic boundaries, offering salvation
to all who trust in Christ. Through
the preached gospel, God draws people
to faith in His Son, making the gospel
the vital means by which people hear,
believe, and are saved.
The saving gospel of Christ is "IN
"Now I would remind you, brothers, of
the gospel I preached to you, which
you received, in which you stand, and
by which you are being saved, if you
hold fast to the word I preached to
you—unless you believed in vain. For I
delivered to you as of first
importance what I also received: that
Christ died for our sins IN ACCORDANCE
WITH THE SCRIPTURES, that he was
buried, that he was raised on the
third day IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE
SCRIPTURES," (1 Corinthians 15:1–4,
ESV, emphasis mine)
The Bible proves itself able to save
people because it provides the
foundation for the gospel of Christ.
In 1 Corinthians 15:1–4, Paul reminds
the church that the gospel he
preached, the message that brings
salvation, is entirely in accordance
with the Scriptures. The Bible
foretold and verified Christ’s death,
burial, and resurrection,
demonstrating God’s redemptive plan
through its pages. The gospel stands
on the authority and truth of
Scripture, showing that the Bible
itself is the means by which God’s
saving message reaches people,
confirming its power to save.
Saving faith in Christ comes by
hearing the "word of God."
"So then faith comes by hearing, and
hearing by the word of God." (Romans
10:17, NKJV)
The Bible, as the word of God, plays a
crucial role in producing saving faith
in Christ. Romans 10:17 emphasizes
that faith comes by hearing, and
hearing through the word of God. This
means that the Scriptures, when
proclaimed and heard, act as the
instrument through which God brings
people to faith. The Bible not only
reveals the message of salvation but
also empowers it, making it the
essential means by which individuals
come to trust in Christ for their
salvation.
Saving faith in Christ comes through
what is written about Him in Scripture.
"but these are WRITTEN that you may
believe that Jesus is the Christ, the
Son of God, and that believing you may
have life in His name." (John 20:31,
NKJV, emphasis mine)
The Bible demonstrates its ability to
save by providing a written record of
who Christ is and what He has done.
John 20:31 declares that the
Scriptures were written with the
purpose of leading people to believe
that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of
God. Through believing in the message
of the Bible, individuals receive
eternal life in His name. This shows
that the Bible is not merely an
account of events but is divinely
designed to bring people to saving
faith in Christ.
The "Holy Scriptures" are able to make
you wise for salvation through faith
in Christ.
"and that from childhood you have
known the Holy Scriptures, which are
able to make you wise for salvation
through faith which is in Christ
Jesus." (2 Timothy 3:15, NKJV)
The Bible proves its ability to save
by imparting wisdom that leads to
salvation through faith in Christ. In
2 Timothy 3:15, Paul reminds Timothy
that the Holy Scriptures, known to him
from childhood, are able to make him
wise for salvation. The Scriptures
provide the knowledge necessary to
understand God's plan of redemption
and place one's faith in Christ. This
shows that the Bible not only
instructs but also guides individuals
toward saving faith, demonstrating its
power to lead people to salvation.
In every aspect, the Bible proves
itself to be the essential means by
which God brings salvation to mankind.
Whether through the written word, the
proclaimed gospel, or the fulfillment
of Scriptural prophecy, the Bible
imparts the knowledge, wisdom, and
faith needed for salvation. As the
incorruptible seed that endures
forever, it continues to transform
hearts and lead people to life in
Christ. To neglect or undermine the
power of the Scriptures is to reject
the very instrument through which God
grants saving faith.

I am convinced that Jesus of Nazareth was a crazy
apocalyptic loon;
He is the Son of the Most High God, and because of
His atoning sacrifice for us we may have forgiveness
of ALL sins.

And as Jesus was raised from the dead, we also may
be raised...giving us hope beyond the grave, which
we must ALL pass through..

"Our days are like a shadow that is getting
longer, and we wither away like grass."

The Bible Can Make You Wise For
Salvation Through Faith In Christ
You see, John? Listen carefully.
The bible can make you wise, but what
for? For something. What? Salvation.
Through what? Faith in the Lord Jesus
Christ, a Person.
Correct. And this proves the point. The
way to become wise to salvation through
faith in Christ, is through a Spirit
enabled understanding of the Scripture
(1 Corinthians 2:10-13).

Once you receive the Lord in His

Galatians 4:9  But now, after that ye
have known God, or rather are known of
God, how turn ye again to the weak and
beggarly elements, whereunto ye desire
again to be in bondage?
The bible, once the Lord Jesus Christ is
received, is a beggarly element (written
word, ink), something that pales into
insignificance compared to the glory of
the presence of the Lord in His Holy
Spirit.
Lies from Satan. The beggarly elements
mentioned in Galatians and Colossians,
are not referring to the word of God,
but to legalistic efforts at
justification, and the kind of worldly
philosophies and asceticism you
manufacture out off the top of your own
head ever day:

“But now that you have come to know God,
or rather to be known by God, how can
you turn back again to the weak and
worthless elementary principles of the
world, whose slaves you want to be once
more? You observe days and months and
seasons and years!” (Galatians 4:9–10, ESV)

That's talking about a legalistic
observance of Old Testament ceremonial
laws, as if it would make one righteous,
not to people who are reading and
receiving guidance from a Spirit
-enabled understanding of the Scriptures.

“If with Christ you died to the
elemental spirits of the world, why, as
if you were still alive in the world, do
you submit to regulations— “Do not
handle, Do not taste, Do not touch”
(referring to things that all perish as
they are used)—according to human
precepts and teachings? These have
indeed an appearance of wisdom in
promoting self-made religion and
asceticism and severity to the body, but
they are of no value in stopping the
indulgence of the flesh.” (Colossians
2:20–23, ESV)

The word of God is never referred to as
a "weak" or "beggarly" element in the
Bible. It is the power of God unto
salvation (Romans 1:16; 10:17).

It is a horrific thought and a stone of
stumbling for them to imagine such a
thing—not having the written word, the
ink—because true faith in God is in His
omnipotence and omnipresence.
You dumb, blind tool of Satan. He's been
trying to separate people from God's
word since the beginning.

That is for those who are born again,

make.
Nowhere does God call anyone to take a

I was playing this guy at chess one
time, and I said, "I wonder what God is
saying in this chess game?" And the guy
looked at me funny and said, "God has
got nothing to do with chess!"
:-).
Is God a book on the coffee table, or is
He everywhere and in everything?
False dichotomy. It isn't either walk
away from the written word of god, or
else you're worshiping ink and paper
rather than God. God communicates the
deep things about Himself to the spirit
of believers, through the inspired
"words" of Scripture:

“God is Spirit, and those who worship
Him must worship in spirit and truth.””
(John 4:24, NKJV)

"truth". What is truth?

“Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word
is truth.” (John 17:17, NKJV)

"These things God has revealed to us
through the Spirit. For the Spirit
searches everything, even the depths of
God. For who knows a person's thoughts
except the spirit of that person, which
is in him? So also no one comprehends
the thoughts of God except the Spirit of
God. Now we have received not the spirit
of the world, but the Spirit who is from
God, that we might understand the things
freely given us by God. And we impart
this in words not taught by human wisdom
but taught by the Spirit, interpreting
spiritual truths to those who are
spiritual." (1 Corinthians 2:10-13, ESV)

Notice, "And we impart this in WORDS not
taught by human wisdom but taught by the
Spirit...".

Thus, the doctrine taught by the
apostles is the "words" God uses to
impart an understanding of the deep
things of God to the minds of believers.

It is a good feeling, isn't it! The
first time in your life when you can
feel your foot is on solid ground; that
is because it is! :-). That is how
Joshua felt when they stepped out of the
Jordan River and into the promised land,
about to conquer all before him, if he
obeyed the will of the Lord.
Let's look at the example of Joshua:

“This Book of the Law shall not depart
from your mouth, but you shall meditate
on it day and night, so that you may be
careful to do according to all that is
written in it. For then you will make
your way prosperous, and then you will
have good success.” (Joshua 1:8, ESV)

The dumb liar, mouthpiece for Satan
alludes to example after example of
Bible teaching which refutes his own
lies, but he's too blinded by Satan and
his own unregenerate ego to get it.

And so...
Rom_8:14  For as many as are led by the
Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
And those who are led by the Spirit are
also walking in line with God's will, as
revealed in Scripture:

"Sanctify them in the truth; your word
is truth." (ESV)

"Whoever has my commandments and keeps
them, he it is who loves me. And he who
loves me will be loved by my Father, and
I will love him and manifest myself to
him." (ESV)

Love keeps Christ's commandments, which
are revealed to us in Scripture.

"But thanks be to God, that you who were
once slaves of sin have become obedient
from the heart to the standard of
teaching to which you were committed,
and, having been set free from sin, have
become slaves of righteousness." (Romans
6:17-18, ESV)

"from the heart", but also according "to
the standard of teaching to which you
were committed".

Romans 8 notes that walking according to
the Spirit, is also consistent with
walking according the the "righteous
requirements of the law":

"in order that the righteous requirement
of the law might be fulfilled in us, who
walk not according to the flesh but
according to the Spirit." (Romans 8:4, ESV)

Love is the fulfillment of the law

As long as you follow the Lord, the
truth, your religion, your bible
doctrines, your bible, and your sinner
Christianity upbringing will get further
and further away in the rear view mirror.
You're describing your own situation.
You're the one who walked away from the

manufactured doctrines of self-deceit.

And look in Romans 8:14; you have a
promise from the Lord.
The rich young ruler would not have been
transformed the moment he decided to go
with the Lord if he had decided to go
with the Lord, but the Lord would have
brought him safely into the Kingdom if
he continued in the faith, like with the
disciples (with the exception of Judas
who chose not to continue).
Trust and obey for that is the way.
Jesus used the word of God to show the
rich young ruler that he was a sinner,
so that He would understand he has not
been keeping the word of God perfectly
as he claimed. The people who can't be
saved are those who deny they are
sinners. They are also those who do not
have the truth or God's word in them:

“If we say that we have no sin, we
deceive ourselves, and the truth is not
in us. If we confess our sins, He is
faithful and just to forgive us our sins
and to cleanse us from all
unrighteousness. If we say that we have
not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His
word is not in us.” (1 John 1:8–10, NKJV)

The Bible stands as the divinely
inspired source of truth, revealing
God's plan of salvation through Jesus
Christ. It not only contains the
message of redemption but also acts as
the means through which saving faith
is imparted to those who hear and
believe. From the written word to the
proclamation of the gospel, Scripture
consistently points people to Christ
and offers the wisdom and power
necessary for eternal life. This
article explores how the Bible, by
God's design, effectively leads
individuals to faith in Christ and
eternal salvation.
Saving faith in the person of Christ
comes through the written word of God.
"having been born again, not of
corruptible seed but incorruptible,
through the word of God which lives
and abides forever," (1 Peter 1:23, NKJV)
Saving faith in Christ originates
through the written word of God, as
Scripture serves as the imperishable
and eternal source of spiritual life.
1 Peter 1:23 affirms that believers
experience new birth through the
incorruptible seed of God's word,
which has enduring power and effect.
This emphasizes that the word of God,
unlike any human effort or perishable
influence, brings forth genuine faith
and lasting transformation in the
hearts of those who receive it.
Saving faith in Christ comes through
the proclamation of the gospel of Christ.
"For I am not ashamed of the gospel of
Christ, for it is the power of God to
salvation for everyone who believes,
for the Jew first and also for the
Greek." (Romans 1:16, NKJV)
Saving faith in Christ comes through
the proclamation of the gospel because
the gospel itself carries the power of
God to bring salvation to those who
believe. Romans 1:16 highlights the
transformative power of the gospel
message, which transcends cultural and
ethnic boundaries, offering salvation
to all who trust in Christ. Through
the preached gospel, God draws people
to faith in His Son, making the gospel
the vital means by which people hear,
believe, and are saved.
The saving gospel of Christ is "IN
"Now I would remind you, brothers, of
the gospel I preached to you, which
you received, in which you stand, and
by which you are being saved, if you
hold fast to the word I preached to
you—unless you believed in vain. For I

importance what I also received: that
Christ died for our sins IN ACCORDANCE
WITH THE SCRIPTURES, that he was

third day IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE
SCRIPTURES," (1 Corinthians 15:1–4,
ESV, emphasis mine)
The Bible proves itself able to save
people because it provides the
foundation for the gospel of Christ.
In 1 Corinthians 15:1–4, Paul reminds
the church that the gospel he
preached, the message that brings
salvation, is entirely in accordance
with the Scriptures. The Bible
foretold and verified Christ’s death,
burial, and resurrection,
demonstrating God’s redemptive plan
through its pages. The gospel stands
on the authority and truth of
Scripture, showing that the Bible
itself is the means by which God’s
saving message reaches people,
confirming its power to save.
Saving faith in Christ comes by
hearing the "word of God."
"So then faith comes by hearing, and
hearing by the word of God." (Romans
10:17, NKJV)
The Bible, as the word of God, plays a
crucial role in producing saving faith
in Christ. Romans 10:17 emphasizes
that faith comes by hearing, and
hearing through the word of God. This
means that the Scriptures, when
proclaimed and heard, act as the
instrument through which God brings
people to faith. The Bible not only
reveals the message of salvation but
also empowers it, making it the
essential means by which individuals
come to trust in Christ for their
salvation.
Saving faith in Christ comes through
what is written about Him in Scripture.
"but these are WRITTEN that you may
believe that Jesus is the Christ, the
Son of God, and that believing you may
have life in His name." (John 20:31,
NKJV, emphasis mine)
The Bible demonstrates its ability to
save by providing a written record of
who Christ is and what He has done.
John 20:31 declares that the
Scriptures were written with the
purpose of leading people to believe
that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of
God. Through believing in the message
of the Bible, individuals receive
eternal life in His name. This shows
that the Bible is not merely an
account of events but is divinely
designed to bring people to saving
faith in Christ.
The "Holy Scriptures" are able to make
you wise for salvation through faith
in Christ.
"and that from childhood you have
known the Holy Scriptures, which are
able to make you wise for salvation
through faith which is in Christ
Jesus." (2 Timothy 3:15, NKJV)
The Bible proves its ability to save
by imparting wisdom that leads to
salvation through faith in Christ. In
2 Timothy 3:15, Paul reminds Timothy
that the Holy Scriptures, known to him
from childhood, are able to make him
wise for salvation. The Scriptures
provide the knowledge necessary to
understand God's plan of redemption
and place one's faith in Christ. This
shows that the Bible not only
instructs but also guides individuals
toward saving faith, demonstrating its
power to lead people to salvation.
In every aspect, the Bible proves
itself to be the essential means by
which God brings salvation to mankind.
Whether through the written word, the
proclaimed gospel, or the fulfillment
of Scriptural prophecy, the Bible
imparts the knowledge, wisdom, and
faith needed for salvation. As the
incorruptible seed that endures
forever, it continues to transform
hearts and lead people to life in
Christ. To neglect or undermine the
power of the Scriptures is to reject
the very instrument through which God
grants saving faith.

 > The Bible Can Make You Wise For Salvation Through Faith In Christ
You see, John? Listen carefully.
The bible can make you wise, but what for? For something. What?
Salvation. Through what? Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, a Person.
Correct. And this proves the point. The way to become wise to salvation
through faith in Christ, is through a Spirit enabled understanding of
the Scripture (1 Corinthians 2:10-13).
This reply was unexpected...

Do you see the tweak, the exchange of the truth for a lie?

Subtle, isn't it.

Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, a Person and in Person.

They touch the white wall and pollute the scriptures to their own sinner
Christian sinner state end.

Now watch the verses...and not the sinner Christian perceptions of his
bible...

1Co 2:10  But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the
Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.

By His Spirit.

1Co 2:11  For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of
man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the
Spirit of God.

The Spirit of God.

1Co 2:12  Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the
spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely
given to us of God.

Through His Spirit.

Through God Himself, through His Holy Spirit.

That is how the good news traveled throughout the world.

Not through "ink," but through the hearts of those who are His...

2Co_3:3  Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of
Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of
the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart.

Paul is writing the above through his ***experience,*** not through his
scripture study, in the Spirit of the living God.

A sinner Christian is in the likeness of a relationship, a depiction, a

(KJV)
Galatians 4:9  But now, after that ye have known God, or rather are
known of God, how turn ye again to the weak and beggarly elements,
whereunto ye desire again to be in bondage?
The bible, once the Lord Jesus Christ is received, is a beggarly
element (written word, ink), something that pales into insignificance
compared to the glory of the presence of the Lord in His Holy Spirit.
Lies from Satan. The beggarly elements mentioned in Galatians and
Colossians, are not referring to the word of God,
Here again he is slithering in his "perfect" sinner Christian context.

It is flying over his head because he is of the earth, carnal, fleshly,
and can't comprehend what is being said in the Spirit; neither does he
want to because it leaves him with no glory.

"Ink" is a beggarly element compared to the Holy Spirit of God, even
when it is a record of what God has said.

Think of the "ink" as a journey, but when you arrive at the
destination—where the Lord is—the "ink" is no longer required. Or, think
of an autobiography of a person compared to the actual presence of the
person. The autobiography is only a beggarly element compared to the
actual person. When you worship the autobiography (bible), you have made
it an idol, and the reason you make it an idol is because you want to
indulge the sin nature!

As you learned in Solomon, wisdom is not the answer. Like Solomon,
Sinner Christian ChristRose ultimately wants the wisdom for himself in
his heart—not that he can see that! Remember, the Lord Jesus Christ is
all about "others." Whereas the spirit of this world always has a
foundation in self (the sinner state). That is why Solomon failed. The
Lord would have preferred Solomon to ask for a heart for Him like his
father David.

But why? Wisdom is not the answer, and it would have been far better for
Israel and for Solomon in the long run NOT to have chosen wisdom but the
Lord Himself. But look at the Lord. In regard to His preference, is the
Lord thinking of Himself being worshiped or is He thinking of Israel and
Solomon?

Exactly! Only the Holy Spirit Himself can show you His motives and who
He really is! Gloriously good. That is why Job was crushed, and he would
counsel God with his whys? Nah, that was an abomination! I am reminded
of Jonah here also; he too questioned God; hopefully he came to the same
point of realisation as Job. Certainly Peter did when he wept bitterly.
Peter wept because he saw for the first time that he was self-deceived.
When you see that, you see that everything about your life—absolutely
everything—is an utter lie, and you are greatly ashamed. It is like the
floorboards giving way beneath you. Isaiah—a man of unclean lips.

Luke 5:8  When Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus' knees, saying,
Depart from me; for I am a sinful man, O Lord.

Now you know why the gentle Lord, who knows absolutely all, knows
Peter's heart, and why He asked Peter those 3 times, "Do you love Me?"
Peter had to ***know*** that he was forgiven, and forgiveness always
gives rise to hope, and hope always gives rise to resurrection in the Lord.

“But now that you have come to know God, or rather to be known by God,
how can you turn back again to the weak and worthless elementary
principles of the world, whose slaves you want to be once more? You
observe days and months and seasons and years!” (Galatians 4:9–10, ESV)
That's talking about a legalistic observance of Old Testament ceremonial
laws, as if it would make one righteous, not to people who are reading
and receiving guidance from a Spirit -enabled understanding of the
Scriptures.
“If with Christ you died to the elemental spirits of the world, why, as
if you were still alive in the world, do you submit to regulations— “Do
not handle, Do not taste, Do not touch” (referring to things that all
perish as they are used)—according to human precepts and teachings?
These have indeed an appearance of wisdom in promoting self-made
religion and asceticism and severity to the body, but they are of no
value in stopping the indulgence of the flesh.” (Colossians 2:20–23, ESV)

The word of God is never referred to as a "weak" or "beggarly" element
in the Bible. It is the power of God unto salvation (Romans 1:16; 10:17).
It is a horrific thought and a stone of stumbling for them to imagine
such a thing—not having the written word, the ink—because true faith
in God is in His omnipotence and omnipresence.
You dumb, blind tool of Satan. He's been trying to separate people from
God's word since the beginning.
My motive since the beginning has been to try and separate people from
their self-deceit and it is a noble godly anointing because it is of the
Lord, it is of His Nature.

That is for those who are born again, chosen, but the called have a
journey to make.
Nowhere does God call anyone to take a journey away from His word,
mouthpiece for Satan.
I was playing this guy at chess one time, and I said, "I wonder what
God is saying in this chess game?" And the guy looked at me funny and
said, "God has got nothing to do with chess!"
:-).
Is God a book on the coffee table, or is He everywhere and in everything?
False dichotomy. It isn't either walk away from the written word of god,
or else you're worshiping ink and paper rather than God. God
communicates the deep things about Himself to the spirit of believers,
“God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and
truth.”” (John 4:24, NKJV)
"truth". What is truth?
“Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth.” (John 17:17, NKJV)
All the more that the Lord speak to him, then. :-).

"God has to be quiet now; we have our bible." Well, then, who is going
to speak?
Post by Christ Rose
"These things God has revealed to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit
searches everything, even the depths of God. For who knows a person's
thoughts except the spirit of that person, which is in him? So also no
one comprehends the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. Now we
have received not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from
God, that we might understand the things freely given us by God. And we
impart this in words not taught by human wisdom but taught by the
Spirit, interpreting spiritual truths to those who are spiritual." (1
Corinthians 2:10-13, ESV)
Notice, "And we impart this in WORDS not taught by human wisdom but
taught by the Spirit...".
Thus, the doctrine taught by the apostles is the "words" God uses to
impart an understanding of the deep things of God to the minds of
believers.
No, it is the Lord Himself through His Holy Spirit in a person's daily
life. Through the Spirit, the Spirit of God, taught by the Spirit, "no
one comprehends the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God; you see,
it is right there in front of his nose, but he does not see.

"Is God a book on the coffee table, or is He everywhere and in everything?"

Do you see how he diverted away from the question into his own private
Idaho? Obviously, the answer is the latter, but that does not suit his
religious proclivity and agenda.

He can sit next to his bible for an eternity if he likes.

:-).
One stroke after another, line upon line, precept upon precept to the
Lord's renewing of your mind through His Holy Spirit. All the glory is His.
Line upon line and precept upon precept is a reference to the written
word of God, as shown above.
No, John, it is a reference to the Holy Spirit and the way He moves.

See how earthly and fleshly he is in his understanding?

Well, he hardened his heart, so that is what he gets.

Learn the lesson: don't harden your heart!

Even if you get to the truth in the end, like Solomon (Ecc 12:13),
Solomon still only looked at God from a wisdom point of view; that is
sinner Christianity to a tee!

The law was fulfilled; sin isn't even on the table—"follow Me." What
matters now? What has always mattered—how you treat the Lord! Everyone
has till the day they die (for the Lord forgives 77 x 7, lots), but you
don't want to leave this world mistreating Him (an abomination), for
that has a reward; it is the Lord that brings the Holy Spirit (Matt
12:32). Don't mistreat the Lord; do what He asks of you.

Like with Israel and Solomon, He has plans.

Jeremiah 29:11
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to
prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

It is a good feeling, isn't it! The first time in your life when you
can feel your foot is on solid ground; that is because it is! :-).
That is how Joshua felt when they stepped out of the Jordan River and
into the promised land, about to conquer all before him, if he obeyed
the will of the Lord.
“This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall
meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according
to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way
prosperous, and then you will have good success.” (Joshua 1:8, ESV)
The dumb liar, mouthpiece for Satan alludes to example after example of
Bible teaching which refutes his own lies, but he's too blinded by Satan
and his own unregenerate ego to get it.
Do you know why ChristRose is still in the Old Testament, because he
still is!

You see how the death on the cross and the resurrection of all those in
Christ Jesus means nothing to them (2 Cor 5:17)? That is because they
don't know Him.

There is no Joshua law now (death, Romans 7); there is no "your way" in
accordance with it. It is the loss of your life and the embracement of
His will, His way now, through the Holy Spirit.
Post by Christ Rose
And so...
Rom_8:14  For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the
sons of God.
And those who are led by the Spirit are also walking in line with God's
"Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth." (ESV)
"Whoever has my commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves me. And
he who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and
manifest myself to him." (ESV)
Love keeps Christ's commandments, which are revealed to us in Scripture.
"But thanks be to God, that you who were once slaves of sin have become
obedient from the heart to the standard of teaching to which you were
committed, and, having been set free from sin, have become slaves of
righteousness." (Romans 6:17-18, ESV)
Do you see how blind this fellow is? Quoting just the right scriptures
but denying the power of them because he exchanges the truth for a lie
(total contradiction in his deeds); in effect exchanging the Lord Jesus
Christ for the world!
Post by Christ Rose
"from the heart", but also according "to the standard of teaching to
which you were committed".
Romans 8 notes that walking according to the Spirit, is also consistent
"in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled
in us, who walk not according to the flesh but according to the
Spirit." (Romans 8:4, ESV)
As long as you follow the Lord, the truth, your religion, your bible
doctrines, your bible, and your sinner Christianity upbringing will
get further and further away in the rear view mirror.
You're describing your own situation. You're the one who walked away
from the Bible, and who now operates on your own manufactured doctrines
of self-deceit.
And look in Romans 8:14; you have a promise from the Lord.
The rich young ruler would not have been transformed the moment he
decided to go with the Lord if he had decided to go with the Lord, but
the Lord would have brought him safely into the Kingdom if he
continued in the faith, like with the disciples (with the exception of
Judas who chose not to continue).
Trust and obey for that is the way.
Jesus used the word of God to show the rich young ruler that he was a
sinner, so that He would understand he has not been keeping the word of
God perfectly as he claimed. The people who can't be saved are those who
deny they are sinners. They are also those who do not have the truth or
“If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is
not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us
our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we
have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us.” (1 John
1:8–10, NKJV)
And on and on and on and on and on with the sinner Christian bible
theology, the revolving door compromising, and treating the Lord like shit!

1Jn 1:6  If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in
darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:

The reason they walk in darkness and lie and do not the truth is because
they don't have a relationship with Him.

Did you note with the rich young ruler that the law (his evil ways) had
nothing to do with the Lord's offer? Do you see it is a call to
relationship from the Lord?

The Lord is saying to the rich young ruler, leave all that behind, leave
it all, including the law, your theology, the tower of Babel you have
built on the sand of your sin, and come with Me.

So simple, isn't it!

In the Name of Jesus
You worship a false Jesus of your own imagination, not the one we know
of from the Bible. The Jesus of the Bible delighted in God's word, and
The Lord Jesus is God, not a bible!

And here we are back the same ol' thing...

"The veil of the temple was rent in twain, not to have a book pass
through it so that a sinner could play God."

And ChristRose needs to give up his vanity and disgusting 'striving to
be righteous' sinner Christian state ...

"If you don't keep all the scriptures, you can't keep any of them."

"God has to be quiet now, we have our bible." And that is what
ChristRose in his wilful sinner state has done, quenched the Holy Spirit!

everlasting Father you are not born again and can't see the Kingdom of God.

Colossians 2:9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.

Rom 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were
YET sinners, Christ died for us.

is not in man that walketh to direct his steps.

Psalms 53:1 The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt
are they, and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that doeth good.

that we would behold the glory of God, and that we should bring forth
the glory of God"

isn't everything to you, He is nothing to you where the rubber meets the
road."

"It is the unforgivable sin not to love God with all your heart, soul,
and mind. What do you have that is lasting? It is not so much being
punished; it is what you are left with."

"Love isn't worth anything without first a free will choice for God to
birth it in a man."

"The point of salvation: desperation. Anything less than that is
self-righteousness."

"A sinner is not a believer in God; a sinner is a believer in sin."

"A piece of dirt is not the promised land; that is only a reflection.
The promised land is knowing Me, says the Lord."

"It is all about God or it is all about idolatry."

"There is no such thing as random!"

"You can't truly love without it being with all your heart."

"No one can see God without their whole heart. Unless you can see God,
you know nothing."

"You can't learn God, God has to reveal Himself to you."

"No sinner is sinless in any way."

"Only God is life; only the Kingdom of God of His "Nature" is life."

"What you believe is just a leaning on your own understanding; faith is
a leaning on the one you have chosen to trust."

"God uses the "letter" to crucify a man and raise him from the dead."

"Not fearing God is sheer stupidity for sinners."

"Self-righteousness is any exclusion of God in your heart, because any
exclusion reveals that you think more about yourself than what you
really are."

"Atheism: "The claim that life received from itself."

"But remember this: always, absolutely always, all the glory is the
Lord's and His alone, and anyone who takes any credit for anything, you
know, instantly, he is not what he pretends to be and is a false prophet."

"That light had to bear (bears all things) the darkness for us, but that
light did not ever become darkness."

"You must reach beyond the bible that tells you about Him, and into your
daily life to find Him in Person. He's there."

"What is wrong with Christendom? False understanding based on compromise."

"It is not in man to love his enemies. And if he tries, he is walking in
a lie and trying to raise himself up to the level of God."

is there a link?
It depends on what you want to tweak.

For example, for the custom message-ID,
it shows how to modify it here:

https://ilias.ca/archive/mozilla/mailnewsfaq/MessageID.shtml

Note: that page is dated. I recommend
using advanced config, not prefs.js, to
make the tweaks.

1) Go to advanced configuration in
Thunderbird settings.

Go to settings, then type "advanced" in
the search bar. It will show you the
button for advanced configuration below.

2) In the search bar for advanced
configuration, add the Boolean preference:

"mail.identity.default.generate_news_message_id",

A) minus quote marks.

B) just type it into the advanced editor
search bar, and it will generate the
option to create it below.

C) Choose "Boolean" as the option for
the setting.

D) Set the value to true by clicking the
arrow button on the right..

E) Click the check-mark box to the right
to save the setting.

4) Next, in the search bar, add the
Boolean preference:

"mail.identity%identitykey%.generate_news_message_id".

A) Minus quotes.

B) Replace $identitykey% with the id of
the account you want to modify. It
should be something like "id1", "id2", etc.

(mail.identity.id2.generate_news_message_id)

C) To verify you have the right account,
type ".id1" or ".id2", etc., into your
advanced configuration search bar, and
it will pull up all the data it has with
that in it. This will enable you to make
sure you have the right account ID to
associate your news settings with. This
assumes you've already created a
newsgroup account.

5) Set the value to true.

6) Create the String

mail.identity.%identitykey%.FQDN

A) replace %identitykey% with the id of
the account you want to modify (e.g.
"id2"). For example,

"mail.identity.id2.FQDN"

B) just type it into the advanced search
bar, and it will generate the option to
create the string below.

C) You'll have three options to choose
from when creating it. Choose "string".

7) Enter you custom domain in the value
for this (e.g. "christrose.news").

For the custom headers that show when
someone clicks to view the source or
headers, you modify the advanced
configuration settings to create custom
headers:

http://kb.mozillazine.org/Custom_headers#Add_custom_headers

I recommend to do this through the
advanced settings, rather than the
prefs.js file. It can be done in the
prefs.js file, but it's easier in
advanced config.

1) Go to advanced config.
2) Type in "mail.identity.id2.headers"

Make sure the ".id2." part is your id
for your news account.

3) Click the pencil button on the right
to edit, and add add the name(s) of the
custom headers you want in the blank line:

For example, I use:

Gospel,HowToBeSaved,Mission,Methods,Copyright-Page,Disclaimer....etc.

Note: Custom headers have to be all one
word, with no space. So if you want to
have multiple words, you either have to
put them together with no spaces between
them (e.g. HowToBeSaved), or you have to
hyphenate them (Copyright-Page).

Put them all in a line, separated by
commas, with no spaces between them:
Gospel,HowToBeSaved,Mission,Methods,Copyright-Page

The last one will have no comma.

4) When you've got all the custom
headers you want to add, click the
check-mark button on the right to save.

3) Next, for each of the above headers
you've created, you need to create a
value. For example, to make a value for
the "Copy-right" header, type:

"mail.identity.id2.header.Copy-right"

into the advanced search bar.

(replace ".id2." with whatever your id is).

It will generate an option to add that
to the settings below.

Click the plus button below on the
right, to add a value to create that
setting.

Select "string".

In the empty box, type the exact name of
the header, followed by a colon, then a
space, then whatever you want for that
value. For example:

Copyright-Page:
https://christrose.news/copyright

Click the check-mark box to save.

Do that for each of the headers.

Let me know if that works for you, or I
could try to help you trouble-shoot if
there's a problem.

Have you heard the good news Christ died
for our sins (†), and God raised Him
from the dead?

That Christ died for our sins shows
we're sinners who deserve the death
penalty. That God raised Him from the
dead shows Christ's death satisfied
God's righteous demands against our sin
(Romans 3:25; 1 John 2:1-2). This means
God can now remain just, while forgiving
you of your sins, and saving you from
eternal damnation.

On the basis of Christ's death and
resurrection for our sins, call on
the name of the Lord to save you:
"For "everyone who calls on the name
of the Lord will be saved."" (Romans
10:13, ESV)

christ rose, which newsreader are you using?
Thunderbird 128.2.0esr (64-bit)
https://www.thunderbird.net/en-US/thunderbird/releases/
I've used their "daily" build, which is
the bleeding edge of what they offer,
but almost none of the add-ons works
with that version.

how were you able to
tweak thunderbird??
is there a link?
It depends on what you want to tweak.
For example, for the custom message-ID,
https://ilias.ca/archive/mozilla/mailnewsfaq/MessageID.shtml
Note: that page is dated. I recommend
using advanced config, not prefs.js, to
make the tweaks.
1) Go to advanced configuration in
Thunderbird settings.
Go to settings, then type "advanced" in
the search bar. It will show you the
button for advanced configuration below.
2) In the search bar for advanced
"mail.identity.default.generate_news_message_id",
A) minus quote marks.
B) just type it into the advanced editor
search bar, and it will generate the
option to create it below.
C) Choose "Boolean" as the option for
the setting.
D) Set the value to true by clicking the
arrow button on the right..
E) Click the check-mark box to the right
to save the setting.
4) Next, in the search bar, add the
"mail.identity%identitykey%.generate_news_message_id".
A) Minus quotes.
B) Replace $identitykey% with the id of
the account you want to modify. It
should be something like "id1", "id2", etc.
(mail.identity.id2.generate_news_message_id)
C) To verify you have the right account,
type ".id1" or ".id2", etc., into your
advanced configuration search bar, and
it will pull up all the data it has with
that in it. This will enable you to make
sure you have the right account ID to
associate your news settings with. This
assumes you've already created a
newsgroup account.
5) Set the value to true.
6) Create the String
mail.identity.%identitykey%.FQDN
A) replace %identitykey% with the id of
the account you want to modify (e.g.
"id2"). For example,
"mail.identity.id2.FQDN"
B) just type it into the advanced search
bar, and it will generate the option to
create the string below.
C) You'll have three options to choose
from when creating it. Choose "string".
7) Enter you custom domain in the value
for this (e.g. "christrose.news").
For the custom headers that show when
someone clicks to view the source or
headers, you modify the advanced
configuration settings to create custom
http://kb.mozillazine.org/Custom_headers#Add_custom_headers
I recommend to do this through the
advanced settings, rather than the
prefs.js file. It can be done in the
prefs.js file, but it's easier in
advanced config.
1) Go to advanced config.
2) Type in "mail.identity.id2.headers"
Make sure the ".id2." part is your id
for your news account.
3) Click the pencil button on the right
to edit, and add add the name(s) of the
Gospel,HowToBeSaved,Mission,Methods,Copyright-Page,Disclaimer....etc.
Note: Custom headers have to be all one
word, with no space. So if you want to
have multiple words, you either have to
put them together with no spaces between
them (e.g. HowToBeSaved), or you have to
hyphenate them (Copyright-Page).
Put them all in a line, separated by
Gospel,HowToBeSaved,Mission,Methods,Copyright-Page
The last one will have no comma.
4) When you've got all the custom
headers you want to add, click the
check-mark button on the right to save.
3) Next, for each of the above headers
you've created, you need to create a
value. For example, to make a value for
"mail.identity.id2.header.Copy-right"
into the advanced search bar.
(replace ".id2." with whatever your id is).
It will generate an option to add that
to the settings below.
Click the plus button below on the
right, to add a value to create that
setting.
Select "string".
In the empty box, type the exact name of
the header, followed by a colon, then a
space, then whatever you want for that
https://christrose.news/copyright
Click the check-mark box to save.
Do that for each of the headers.
Let me know if that works for you, or I
could try to help you trouble-shoot if
there's a problem.
wow thanks man! big help. i have been trying to change my reader,
many posts are not being downloaded and i see them in quotes,
including replies to me at times. i have to delete the group and

Christ.

That is what you said in plain English.
Scripture:

“and that from childhood you have known
the Holy Scriptures, which are able to
make you wise for salvation through
faith which is in Christ Jesus.” (2
Timothy 3:15, NKJV)

The Scripture says "Scriptures, which
are able", not "Scriptures which can do
nothing of themselves".

Me:

"Scriptures are able".

I said Scriptures are able, not
"Scriptures can do nothing of themselves".

Neither I nor Scripture said Scripture
"can do nothing" of itself.

When God's word says "Scriptures which
are able" (dunamena), it clearly means
the Scriptures "can" and do have the
"ability", to make people wise through
faith in Christ Jesus.

It's even in the middle voice, which
means the subject ("Scriptures") is
acting upon itself, implying the ability
to make people wise through faith in
Christ, is inherent in God's word--the
Scriptures.

This can in no way be confused with the
perfectly contrary idea that Scriptures
(God's words) "can do nothing of
themselves", as you contend.

God's word is the dunamis that called
creation into existence.

"By the word of the Lord the heavens
were made, and by the breath of his
mouth all their host." (Psalm 33:6, ESV)

God's word can and does have the power
to accomplish whatever purpose God
intends by sending it out:

"So shall my word be that goes out from
my mouth; it shall not return to me
empty, but it shall accomplish that
which I purpose, and shall succeed in
the thing for which I sent it." (Isaiah
55:11, ESV)

The word of God has power like a hammer,
to break rocks into pieces.

"Is not my word like fire, declares the
Lord, and like a hammer that breaks the
rock in pieces?" (Jeremiah 23:29, ESV)

The word of God is living and active. It
has the power to pierce to the division
of soul and spirit, and to discern the
thoughts and intents of the heart.

"For the word of God is living and
active, sharper than any two-edged
sword, piercing to the division of soul
and of spirit, of joints and of marrow,
and discerning the thoughts and
intentions of the heart." (Hebrews 4:12,
ESV)

Paul teaches Scripture is God's word:

"All Scripture is breathed out by God
and profitable for teaching, for
reproof, for correction, and for
training in righteousness, that the man
of God may be complete, equipped for
every good work." (2 Timothy 3:16-17, ESV)

"And we also thank God constantly for
this, that when you received the word of
God, which you heard from us, you
accepted it not as the word of men but
as what it really is, the word of God,
which is at work in you believers." (1
Thessalonians 2:13, ESV)

The word of God is the means through
which God causes the elect to be born again:

“having been born again, not of
corruptible seed but incorruptible,
through the word of God which lives and
abides forever,” (1 Peter 1:23, NKJV).

Romans 10:17 confirms that saving faith
in Christ comes by hearing, and hearing
"by the word of God" (Romans 10:17).

So yes, the power to to impart faith, to
make someone born again, and to make
them wise unto salvation through faith
in Christ, is inherent in the word of God.

Where did you think saving faith came
from? Faith isn't something that comes
out of the depraved, spiritually dead
heart of the unregenerate (Ephesians 2,
4, 5). We are saved by grace, through
faith, and that not of ourselves, it is
the gift of God, not of works, lest any
man should boast (Ephesians 2:8-9).

Faith is something God imparts to the
elect through the proclamation and power
of His word--the Scriptures (Romans
10:17). It's not something that comes
from the heart of the spiritually dead.

Did you pay any attention to the scripture you just quoted?

What did it say about making one wise?
Through Faith in Jesus Christ? Yes. And through that Faith, Salvation.

What is the first gift of God given to man so that they might receive
Salvation?

Faith.

“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves:it is
the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” (Ephesians
2:8-9)

Faith is not of ones self regarding things spiritual, it is a gift.

THEN it is that the Word of God opens up to oneself.

Just look at all the ‘christians’ who think it is a chore to read and
study the Bible, who think reading a chapter a day is their work to do and
not something of Joy, excitement. Some only want a verse or two and treat
even that like a fortune out of a fortune cookie.

"Scriptures are able".
God:

“And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able
to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.”
(2 Timothy 3:15)

Again take note of the full verse, it is the true context, or did you
purposely ignore the part which said, "which are able to make thee wise unto
salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.”

Whose points are those that believe on Jesus supposed to follow?

Man’s, or His.
Post by Christ Rose
I said Scriptures are able, not

Neither I nor Scripture said Scripture

When God's word says "Scriptures which

You proved my point, which is also in the subject line, and your focus on the
“text of the Bible can do all these things” was obvious in your post, but
not the critical portions of the scriptures. You see, all these things are
true, but the clear caveat is that it must be done through faith in Jesus
Christ. So the statement that the “Bible can make you wise” Is not true,
without faith in Jesus Christ it is just a book. And that may very well be
part of MM’s difficulties. Why limit yourself in that manner?

Trusting in AI to bring out the fulness of things spiritual is flat wrong.
God says,“Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine
own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy
paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil. It
shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones.” (Proverbs 3:5-8)

And do you see the PLUS promise there in V8? It should generate faith to
those in Christ, not doubt and excuses.

above.

That is what you inferred by ignoring the qualifying portions of those
scriptures. You even quoted the whole verse, but was blind to what make it
happen.
It pains me to say all this, because you should have recognized this in your
life long, long ago. We MUST trust in Him. We are to trust him so much that
we can place all our hurts, wants, needs, cares, upon Him who paid the price
for our ‘complete salvation’. Not just getting into heaven by the skin of
our teeth.

God's word is the dunamis that called
creation into existence.
Yes, His spoken word. He did not, as MM would say, Toss the Bible into the
air and all these things happen. And Man he formed from the earth with his

Yes, but if you were to mail out the scripture to every person in the world,
what then would be the ROI? Of course you can backtrack and say, well that
wasn’t the will of God for this or that person, like you said about God
hardening the hearts of men. But the scripture clearly states that it is Gods
will and desire that ALL men come unto him.

my mouth; it shall not return to me
empty, but it shall accomplish that
which I purpose, and shall succeed in
the thing for which I sent it." (Isaiah

What was the qualifier for the “So”?

Isaiah 55:8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my
ways, saith the LORD.

Isaiah 55:9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways
higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

Yes, it has, but why are their plenty of rocks all over this world?
Post by Christ Rose
"Is not my word like fire, declares the
Lord, and like a hammer that breaks the
rock in pieces?" (Jeremiah 23:29, ESV)
Jeremiah 23:27 Which think to cause my people to forget my name by their
dreams which they tell every man to his neighbour, as their fathers have
forgotten my name for Baal.

Jeremiah 23:28 The prophet that hath a dream, let him tell a dream; and he
that hath my word, let him speak my word faithfully. Whatis the chaff to the
wheat? saith the LORD.

Jeremiah 23:29 Is not my word like as a fire? saith the LORD; and like a
hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces?

Jeremiah 23:30 Therefore, behold, I am against the prophets, saith the LORD,
that steal my words every one from his neighbour.

Jeremiah 23:31 Behold, I am against the prophets, saith the LORD, that use
their tongues, and say, He saith.

Jeremiah 23:32 Behold, I am against them that prophesy false dreams, saith
the LORD, and do tell them, and cause my people to err by their lies, and by
their lightness; yet I sent them not, nor commanded them: therefore they
shall not profit this people at all, saith the LORD.

Jeremiah 23:33 And when this people, or the prophet, or a priest, shall ask
thee, saying, What is the burden of the LORD? thou shalt then say unto them,
What burden? I will even forsake you, saith the LORD.

So here you can see the context, and also his will being performed within
that context, not indiscriminately, as it seems that you would apply it as a
general blanket of destruction.

As does the Lord, but when is it that the rubber meets the road?
All the lofty propositions and repeating of scripture means nothing in one is
simply a sounding Gong, and loves not his brother. How can that teach what
they do not follow?

If a person wraps a scripture on paper, and wrap it around a rock an shoot it
with a sling shot at another, what is the result of that action? The Love of
God, or hatred?

But, but, but, one might sputter, the word of God is for reproof and thereby
they are 'Being Loving’ they then argue in self justification. But God
knows the heart, He sees the intent. And we all should be mindful of that.

Now, take your subject, take your bible and say, Ha YAW! While you slice and
dice your perceived opponent, are they bleeding yet? Of do they just have
bruises from you using that big Family Bible on them.

It is after all by the will and purpose of God through those that walk in the
spirit that the word has power, and that through Faith on Jesus and by the
Spirit. Otherwise it is no different from anyone else outside the will of
God, just like those goodie two shoes in the NT who were casting out demons
in the name of Jesus, but then were attacked and torn to shreds by them as
they were doing things with their heads/minds, and not by the Spirit.

Romans 10:17 confirms that saving faith

So yes, the power to to impart faith, to

You seem not to recognize just who is the Word of God here.

John 1:1-5

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was
God.

2 The same was in the beginning with God.

3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that
was made.

4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

Him, is not scripture. Scripture is the Word of God. There is a difference.
When one is sworn into office and puts there hand on the Bible, are they
putting their hand of God?

The point I am making here, in case you do not understand, is that the
general purpose blanket you use to ‘fit all things’ is inaccurate and
without clarity.

It is inherent in scripture that Gods desire is that all men are saved, but
he knows such will not happen. He does want us to know that it IS HIS WILL
that any of us would come to His open arms. Sadly many choose themselves over
God, some even fall away, never taking in mind the fact that their end will
be worse than those who never knew him.

The "Holy Scriptures" are able to make
you wise for salvation through faith in
Christ.
In other words the “Holy Scriptures” without faith in Christ Jesus are
just words and can do nothing of themselves.
That is what you said in plain English.
“and that from childhood you have known
the Holy Scriptures, which are able to
make you wise for salvation through
faith which is in Christ Jesus.” (2
Timothy 3:15, NKJV)
“but these are written that you may
believe that Jesus is the Christ, the
Son of God, and that believing you may
have life in His name.” (John 20:31, NKJV)

Poof!

Yes, even the "written" (with pen and
ink) word of God is a means by which God
imparts saving faith in Christ. No
wonder Satan is trying to separate and
distance believers from it.

“So then faith comes by hearing, and
hearing by the word of God.” (Romans
10:17, NKJV)

Poof!

How does the gift of saving faith in
Christ "come" to people?

"By hearing".

By hearing what?

"The word of God" (cf. 1 Corinthians
15:1-4).

People aren't born with the wisdom of
Christ's substitutionary atonement for
their sins and resurrection, that they
might have faith in Him.

Further, God does not deliver this
wisdom to people through osmosis. It
"comes" to them by hearing the "word of
God", as revealed by what is "written"
(yes, with pen and ink) in Scripture
(Romans 10:17; John 20:31; cf. 1
Corinthians 2:10-13; 15:1-4).

Thus, Scriptures are not only "able" to
make one wise to salvation through faith
in Christ, they are the very vehicle by
which faith in Christ "comes" to the elect.

"So then, faith comes by hearing, and
hearing by the word of God" (Romans 10:17).
Post by Robert
Did you pay any attention to the scripture you just quoted?
Idem. You're trying to impute your own
claim that Scriptures "can do nothing of
themselves" to me and to the Bible, when
it clearly says the exact opposite of
what you are claiming. God's word
written in Scripture is not only able to
make people wise to saving faith in
Christ, it is the very vehicle by which
saving faith "comes" to God's elect
(Romans 10:17; John 20;31; 1 Corinthians
15:1-4; John 6:63, 68).

“It is the Spirit who gives life; the
flesh profits nothing. The words that I
speak to you are spirit, and they are
life.” (John 6:63, NKJV)

“God is Spirit, and those who worship
Him must worship in spirit and truth.””
(John 4:24, NKJV)

“Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word
is truth.” (John 17:17, NKJV)

What actually "can't" be done, is to
worship God apart from the truth of His
word, as written for us in Scriptures.

The gospel _is_ the power of God unto
salvation (Romans 1:6), and the gospel
_is_ "according to the Scriptures (1
Corinthians 15:1-4).

There. You have just been slayed in the
spirit. Any failure on your part to
recognize or admit that is not my
problem. You've been shown the truth.
Post by Robert
What did it say about making one wise?
Idem. We know that this "Faith comes by
hearing, and hearing by the word of God"
(Romans 10:17). Thus, Scriptures are
both "able" to make you wise to
salvation through faith in Christ, and
the very vehicle by which that saving
faith "comes" to God's elect.
Post by Robert
Through Faith in Jesus Christ? Yes. And through that Faith, Salvation.
Which faith "comes by hearing" the "word
of God" (Romans 10:17).

God's gift of faith to the elect is not
imparted mystically, or by osmosis. It
comes through the hearing of God's
proclaimed word (Romans 10:17).

Do you want someone to receive faith in
Christ Jesus? Then you tell them what
the Scripture says about Christ Jesus,
and faith in Christ Jesus comes through
hearing the word of God about Christ
Jesus. Faith doesn't arbitrarily show up
out of thin air to the elect, it comes
by hearing, and hearing by the "word of
God (Romans 10:17).

It is the "Scriptures" (which are the
"written" word of God) which "are able"
(dunamis, meaning they "can",
"ability"), to make you wise "through
faith" in Christ Jesus. And as noted,
that "faith" in Christ comes by hearing,
and hearing by the word of God" (Romans
10:17).

So yes, Scriptures (God's words) are the
dunamis by which God imparts faith in
Christ Jesus to the elect.
Post by Robert
What is the first gift of God given to man so that they might receive
Salvation?
Faith.
And God gives the elect that gift of
faith by hearing the word of God:

“So then faith comes by hearing, and
hearing by the word of God.” (Romans
10:17, NKJV)

How did you think faith came to the
elect? It's through hearing the "word of
God". Scriptures are the word of God.
Scriptures are "written" that you might
believe in Christ, and have life in His
name (John 20:31).
Post by Robert
“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves:it is
the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” (Ephesians
2:8-9)
Faith is not of ones self regarding things spiritual, it is a gift.
Exactly. And that gift of faith comes
"by hearing, and hearing by the word of
God" (Romans 10:17).
Post by Robert
THEN it is that the Word of God opens up to oneself.
Faith does not come to people by
osmosis, THEN they believe what the
Bible says. "Faith" in Christ itself
"comes" by hearing "the word of God"
(Romans 10:17).
Post by Robert
Just look at all the ‘christians’ who think it is a chore to read and
study the Bible, who think reading a chapter a day is their work to do and
not something of Joy, excitement. Some only want a verse or two and treat
even that like a fortune out of a fortune cookie.
Romans addresses that issue as well. It
notes Israel's failure to believe the
proclaimed word of God:

“But they have not all obeyed the
gospel. For Isaiah says, “LORD, who has
believed our report?” So then faith
comes by hearing, and hearing by the
word of God.” (Romans 10:16–17, NKJV)

The fact they did not believe the report
shows that it is the report
(proclamation of God's word), through
which saving faith "comes", whether
people believe it or not.

exactly what it says.

"Scriptures are able".
You said I claimed the Scriptures "can
not do anything of themselves". I said
no such thing. The Scriptures said no
such thing. They say Scriptures "can"
and "are able". That faith in Christ
comes through hearing God's word (Romans
10:17), and through faith in what is
"written" about Jesus in God's word, not
through osmosis or mystical intervention.

Man’s, or His.
idem.
Post by Robert

I said Scriptures are able, not
"Scriptures can do nothing of themselves".
Neither I nor Scripture said Scripture
"can do nothing" of itself.
When God's word says "Scriptures which
are able" (dunamena), it clearly means
the Scriptures "can" and do have the
"ability", to make people wise through
faith in Christ Jesus.
Idem. Scriptures not only "can" make
people wise to salvation through faith
in Christ Jesus, it is the very means by
which saving faith in Christ "comes" to
the believer:

"So then, faith comes by hearing, and
hearing by the word of God" (Romans 10:17).

--Not osmosis. Not mystical
intervention. The proclamation of God's
word about Christ is how saving faith in
Christ comes to God's elect.

Trusting in AI to bring out the fulness of things spiritual is flat wrong.
1) That's your false assumption. I
didn't crack open AI even once in this
exchange.

2) You haven't demonstrated any
convincing case from Scripture that the
content was in error to begin with.

3) It was your ideas which were found to
be contrary to the plain teaching of
Scripture, and to what I claimed.

4) The bible doesn't warn people against
AI. It warns them against false teachers
and doctrine of demons. Anyone can be a
false teacher. Anyone can be manipulated
by the doctrine of demons. The only way
to know if the doctrine is correct, is
by whether or not it is consistent with
Scripture.

5) I find your teaching to be
inconsistent with Scripture. Also, your
effort to discredit, contradict, and
undermine what I know to be sound
doctrine, isn't something that convinces
me you're acting in love here. It seems
more consistent with me to what the
Scripture describes as bitter envy and
selfish ambition, which the Bible shows
comes from a source of demonic wisdom:

own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy

And do you see the PLUS promise there in V8? It should generate faith to
those in Christ, not doubt and excuses.

It is in the middle voice. Check it

This can in no way be confused with the
perfectly contrary idea that Scriptures
(God's words) "can do nothing of
themselves", as you contend.
That is what you inferred by ignoring the qualifying portions of those
scriptures. You even quoted the whole verse, but was blind to what make it
happen.
The "qualifying portions" confirm that
Scripture is not only "able" to make
people wise to salvation through faith
in Christ Jesus, but also that God
delivers that saving faith to the elect,
through hearing "the word of God"
(Scripture)(Romans 10:17; 1 Corinthians

The gospel _is_ the power of God unto
salvation (Romans 1:16), and the gospel

It pains me to say all this, because you should have recognized this in your

we can place all our hurts, wants, needs, cares, upon Him who paid the price
for our ‘complete salvation’. Not just getting into heaven by the skin of
our teeth.
Idem. It isn't faith in Scripture vs.
faith in Christ. Saving faith in Christ
"comes" to the elect by the proclamation
of the word of God (Scriptures).

God's word is the dunamis that called
creation into existence.
Yes, His spoken word. He did not, as MM would say, Toss the Bible into the
air and all these things happen. And Man he formed from the earth with his
own hands, and the breathed life into him, Eve, He cloned from Adam.
“but these are WRITTEN that you may
believe that Jesus is the Christ, the
Son of God, and that believing you may
have life in His name.” (John 20:31, NKJV)

Why did God inspire John to write that
Scripture? "So that you may believe that
Jesus is the Christ", and so that
believing that written testimony about
Him, you "may have life in His name".

Poof!

Yes, saving faith in Christ comes to us
through what was "written" about Christ
with pen and ink.

So it isn't pen and ink vs faith in
Christ. Saving faith in Christ comes to
us through what is written about Him in
God's word (Scripture).

Trying to confuse believing what is
"written" about Christ, so that we may
be saved, and "worshiping ink and
paper", is a lie from Satan designed to
separate people from the written word of
god.

Words are still the medium for conveying
truth, and those who worship God must
worship Him in spirit and truth. What is
truth? "They word is truth" (John 17).
That's why these things in Scripture are
"written", is so we may believe in
Christ and be saved.

Written Scripture and the proclamation
of the written Scripture is the vehicle
by which saving faith in Christ "comes"
to the elect. No wonder Satan is trying
to distance people from what has been
"written" about Christ.

Jeremiah 23:33 And when this people, or the prophet, or a priest, shall ask
thee, saying, What is the burden of the LORD? thou shalt then say unto them,

that context, not indiscriminately, as it seems that you would apply it as a
general blanket of destruction.

It is after all by the will and purpose of God through those that walk in the
spirit that the word has power, and that through Faith on Jesus and by the
Spirit. Otherwise it is no different from anyone else outside the will of
God, just like those goodie two shoes in the NT who were casting out demons
in the name of Jesus, but then were attacked and torn to shreds by them as
they were doing things with their heads/minds, and not by the Spirit.

was made.

Where did you think saving faith came
from? Faith isn't something that comes
out of the depraved, spiritually dead
heart of the unregenerate (Ephesians 2,
4, 5). We are saved by grace, through
faith, and that not of ourselves, it is
the gift of God, not of works, lest any

Faith is something God imparts to the

from the heart of the spiritually dead.
Actually God imparts faith to the sinner here for the purpose of Salvation. A
hardened heart will reject it.

Have you heard the good news Christ died

That Christ died for our sins shows
we're sinners who deserve the death
penalty. That God raised Him from the
dead shows Christ's death satisfied
God's righteous demands against our sin
(Romans 3:25; 1 John 2:1-2). This means
God can now remain just, while forgiving
you of your sins, and saving you from
eternal damnation.

On the basis of Christ's death and
resurrection for our sins, call on
the name of the Lord to save you:
"For "everyone who calls on the name

Do you see how everything flies over this sinner's head? That is because
he made himself the sinner Christian authority on the scriptures. That
is what all sinners do; put themselves first.

He is blind and will not hear.

He writes:
"The word of God is the means through which God causes the elect to be

The Lord Jesus Christ is the Saviour, in the Spirit of Truth, in Person,

The bible in this sinner's hands is made corrupt. Of course, what else

The "Holy Scriptures" are able to make
you wise for salvation through faith in
Christ.
In other words the “Holy Scriptures” without faith in Christ Jesus are
just words and can do nothing of themselves.
That is what you said in plain English.
“and that from childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are
able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ
Jesus.” (2 Timothy 3:15, NKJV)
The Scripture says "Scriptures, which are able", not "Scriptures which
can do nothing of themselves".
"Scriptures are able".
I said Scriptures are able, not "Scriptures can do nothing of themselves".
Neither I nor Scripture said Scripture "can do nothing" of itself.
When God's word says "Scriptures which are able" (dunamena), it clearly
means the Scriptures "can" and do have the "ability", to make people
wise through faith in Christ Jesus.
It's even in the middle voice, which means the subject ("Scriptures") is
acting upon itself, implying the ability to make people wise through
faith in Christ, is inherent in God's word--the Scriptures.
This can in no way be confused with the perfectly contrary idea that
Scriptures (God's words) "can do nothing of themselves", as you contend.
God's word is the dunamis that called creation into existence.
"By the word of the Lord the heavens were made, and by the breath of his
mouth all their host." (Psalm 33:6, ESV)
God's word can and does have the power to accomplish whatever purpose
"So shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to
me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall
succeed in the thing for which I sent it." (Isaiah 55:11, ESV)
The word of God has power like a hammer, to break rocks into pieces.
"Is not my word like fire, declares the Lord, and like a hammer that
breaks the rock in pieces?" (Jeremiah 23:29, ESV)
The word of God is living and active. It has the power to pierce to the
division of soul and spirit, and to discern the thoughts and intents of
the heart.
"For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged
sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of
marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the
heart." (Hebrews 4:12, ESV)
"All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for
reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man
of God may be complete, equipped for every good work." (2 Timothy
3:16-17, ESV)
"And we also thank God constantly for this, that when you received the
word of God, which you heard from us, you accepted it not as the word of
men but as what it really is, the word of God, which is at work in you
believers." (1 Thessalonians 2:13, ESV)
The word of God is the means through which God causes the elect to be
“having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible,
through the word of God which lives and abides forever,” (1 Peter 1:23,
NKJV).
Romans 10:17 confirms that saving faith in Christ comes by hearing, and
hearing "by the word of God" (Romans 10:17).
So yes, the power to to impart faith, to make someone born again, and to
make them wise unto salvation through faith in Christ, is inherent in
the word of God.
Where did you think saving faith came from? Faith isn't something that
comes out of the depraved, spiritually dead heart of the unregenerate
(Ephesians 2, 4, 5). We are saved by grace, through faith, and that not
of ourselves, it is the gift of God, not of works, lest any man should
boast (Ephesians 2:8-9).
Faith is something God imparts to the elect through the proclamation and
power of His word--the Scriptures (Romans 10:17). It's not something
that comes from the heart of the spiritually dead.
Do you see how everything flies over this sinner's head?
Dumb lies. What I see again and again is you pretending to refute something,
without actually offering any evidence from Scripture.

Example: "sinner's head". As if you're not a sinner. The arrogant,
"self-deceived" hypocrite tries to make God out to be a liar when he
pretends he is not a sinner:

1 John 1:8–10 (NKJV): If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves,
and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and
just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is
not in us.

That is because
he made himself the sinner >Christian authority on the scriptures.
And oh how this satanically manipulated mouthpiece for Satan hates the
authority of God's word. He's been trying to undermine and turn people
against it since the beginning:

John 20:31 (NKJV): but these are written that you may believe that Jesus is
the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His
name.

It's what is "written" (yes, with pen and ink) about Christ, which persuades
people to trust in Christ. No wonder you spend so much time trying to
undermine the "written" word of God.

--Too hard to promote your soul-damning, satanically manipulated lies when
people fail to put your quips on par with Scripture as the authority. Your
"self-deceived" word is not the authority. God's word is. Arrogant
hypocrite!

That
is what all sinners do; put >themselves first.
Which is why you try to put your self-deceived word before Scripture, and
why you try to make God out to be a liar when you deny you have a sin
nature or ever sin. You show you have neither the truth nor the word of God
in you.

He is blind and will not hear.
You're the one the Bible says is "self-deceived". Everyone here knows you
sin. Yet you pretend you never do, while we watch you trying to make God
out to be a liar by denying you have a sin nature or ever sin.

The Lord Jesus Christ is the Saviour, in the Spirit of Truth, in Person,
not "ink," not the bible.
Faith in the real Christ comes through what is written about Him in
Scripture, dumb, slithering deceiver:

John 20:31 (NKJV): but these are written that you may believe that Jesus is
the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His

Thus, faith in Christ comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

of God.

Look at the arrogant troll pretending he's not a sinner in here every day of

If you operated in the name of Jesus, you wouldn't be trying to undermine
the written word of God, in favor of your own "self-deceived" words. You
have neither the truth nor the word of God in you, sinner.
--
Have you heard the good news Christ died for our sins (†), and God raised
Him from the dead?

That Christ died for our sins shows we're sinners who deserve the death
penalty. That God raised Him from the dead shows Christ's death satisfied
God's righteous demands against our sin (Romans 3:25; 1 John 2:1-2). This
means God can now remain just, while forgiving you of your sins, and saving
you from eternal damnation.

On the basis of Christ's death and resurrection for our sins, call on the
name of the Lord to save you:

"For "everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."" (Romans
10:13, ESV)

What a foul mouth this fellow has, though! Whew! One of the worst! He
goes about exchanging the truth for a lie in his sin and then quotes
bible verses as though hypocrisy is as far from him as the nearest star!

Stay well clear of these people, for they go about seeking whom they may

The Lord Jesus Christ is the Saviour, in
the Spirit of Truth, in Person, not
"ink," not the bible.
How are you communicating this to us,
you dumb hypocrite? In writing. You're
trying to persuade people and promote
faith in your views through the written
word.

Now, why did God breathe out the
Scriptures through men who wrote with
pen and ink (2 Timothy 3:16)?

“but these are written that you may
believe that Jesus is the Christ, the
Son of God, and that believing you may
have life in His name.” (John 20:31, NKJV)

Yes, God promotes faith in Christ
through the "written" account about Him
in Scripture.

“So then faith comes by hearing, and
hearing by the word of God.” (Romans
10:17, NKJV)

So you want people to walk away from the
words of Scripture which have been
"written" with pen and ink, to promote
faith in Christ, to listen to your
written words that try to undermine the
written word of God:

Shut up written Bible! Listen to my
written words instead!

Stupid, self-deceived, hypocritical
mouthpiece for Satan!

Have you heard the good news Christ died
for our sins (†), and God raised Him
from the dead?

That Christ died for our sins shows
we're sinners who deserve the death
penalty. That God raised Him from the
dead shows Christ's death satisfied
God's righteous demands against our sin
(Romans 3:25; 1 John 2:1-2). This means
God can now remain just, while forgiving
you of your sins, and saving you from
eternal damnation.

On the basis of Christ's death and
resurrection for our sins, call on
the name of the Lord to save you:
"For "everyone who calls on the name
of the Lord will be saved."" (Romans
10:13, ESV)

Yes, I am. I am speaking of that which is greater than words.

ChristRose's "perfect, sinless" sinner Christian "meaning of words" is
not the Lord God from on high.

It just does not compute with him!

PS: Below, you can see it is flying over his head in his sinner argument
for a ground invasion into the gates of hell. :-).

The "Holy Scriptures" are able to make
you wise for salvation through faith in
Christ.
In other words the “Holy Scriptures” without faith in Christ Jesus are
just words and can do nothing of themselves.
Hahahaha...John, well, what do you know! True, and very well said.

This rather negative middle-aged nurse I used to work with years ago
when we were working with the Aussie Aboriginals in dialysis used to
say, "Expect the worse, and every now and again you are pleasantly
surprised." :-).

"Is God a book on the coffee table, or is He everywhere and in everything?"

You see, "ink" are just "beggarly elements," like the "wisdom" with
Solomon; without the heart for God, like his father King David had,
wisdom is dead, a "beggarly element."

One could even go one step further and say, "You may as well "toss" the
bible without a true and intimate relationship with the One the bible is
about!" But if you find the One that the bible is talking about, what then?

Luke 11:9  And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and
ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.

Ask for Him to reveal Himself to you, seek Him and you shall find Him,
knock until He opens Himself to you.

Note: The Lord Jesus did not say, "Follow Me and bring your scriptures
with you, Rich Young Ruler."
