PermalinkHow is it a lie?
A lie is the promise of something being true.
Everything in this world is a lie, merely a promise of fulfilment and
satisfaction. However, fulfilment and satisfaction wouldn't even be a
thing if it were not possible. Right?
How is it possible?
All things are possible with God, but with you and your vain,
self-serving striving, nothing is possible, religious or otherwise.
Ecc 1:14 I have seen all the works that are done under the sun; and,
behold, all is vanity and vexation of spirit.
Chasing the wind, all of what you see and what you do in this world is
chasing the wind. It is obvious, isn't it? Look at the pyramids—all that
effort, crumbling.
And for you religious types, God does not need your (or mine) help.
But even with wisdom under the sun, it is just as futile as stupidity.
There is only one place you'll find fulfilment and satisfaction, and
that is in the Lord Jesus Christ Himself, not in a bible, or a religion,
or in people, or in worldly or religious best practices.
If you want to escape the vanity, it is to be with Him.

God is God in all His Being. All the glory is His, for He is all glory.
Jesus is the everlasting Father, Jesus is God, Jesus is the Lord. John
10:30 I and Father are one. If you can't see that the Lord Jesus is the
everlasting Father you are not born again and can't see the Kingdom of God.
Colossians 2:9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.
Rom 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were
YET sinners, Christ died for us.
Jeremiah 10:23 O LORD, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it
is not in man that walketh to direct his steps.
Psalms 53:1 The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt
are they, and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that doeth good.
Proverbs 12:15 The way of a fool is right in his own eyes: but he that
hearkeneth unto counsel is wise.
